About me

Sarah Ford hails from San Angelo, Texas. She is disciplined, hardworking, and self-motivated - with a deep curiosity and drive to serve her hometown and beyond.

Sarah is the owner of Concho Pearl Construction, where she continues the legacy of her late father, Max Sanders, a tough-as-nails builder and entrepreneur respected in San Angelo for his integrity, hard work and sense of humor. 

Before starting Concho Pearl Construction, Sarah spent 12 years as the Founder and CEO of a luxury cowboy boot company, Ranch Road Boots, blending her passion for entrepreneurship with her Texas roots. Prior to that, she served as Vice President of Sales for Local Motors, a street-legal off-road car company bringing innovative concepts to the automotive world.

Earlier in her career, Sarah worked as a consultant at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), one of the world’s leading management consulting firms, known for helping businesses solve complex strategic problems. Her time at BCG honed her problem-solving skills and deepened her understanding of business strategy and innovation.

Sarah began her career as a consultant at Trilogy Software in Austin, TX.  Seeking adventure and possessing a desire to serve her country, in June 2001, she left corporate life and joined the U.S. Marine Corps. She served in the logistics field and deployed on three tours, two in Iraq (2003, 2004) and one in Afghanistan (2007), before leaving active duty as a Captain.

She holds a Bachelor of Business from the University of Texas at Austin (1999) and an MBA from Harvard Business School (2007).
